Key Features
White Dyneema Grid on Black Nylon Base for Cut & Tear Protection
Built on a black semi-transparent nylon base with 14% UPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) white grid lines, 400D x 400D and 37 x 31 density – the white Dyneema grid forms a visible reinforcement skeleton that stops cuts and tears from spreading, while the black nylon base keeps the fabric soft, pliable, and visually distinctive.
Abrasion Resistance & Dimensional Stability
The tightly woven nylon base holds its shape without sagging or stretching, while the white Dyneema grid reinforces high-wear zones against repeated rubbing from trail debris, rock edges, and pack abrasion. This combination ensures consistent fit and long service life in demanding outdoor conditions.
Applications
Outdoor Footwear Uppers – Hiking Shoes, Trail Running Shoes & Approach Shoes
Used as the upper material for hiking shoes, trail running shoes, and approach footwear – resisting cuts and abrasion from rocks, branches, and sharp trail debris while keeping the foot ventilated and comfortable on long-distance hikes.
Mountaineering Backpacks
Used for backpack body panels, bottom reinforcement, and side pockets – protecting against slash damage in crowded transit, rock abrasion during scrambles, and sharp tool edges inside the pack.
